You know I have been drawn to practicing more Yoga lately. I knew this would help me reach a more Balanced Physicality and State of Mind.
I began to follow some Yoga Pages on Facebook and loved one in particular: Be, Present.
This isn’t just Yoga wear, it is also Active and Casual Wear, with a focus on Organic and Eco-friendly clothing to move easily in.

“Always be present.” – Amy Lopatin Dobrin, founder/designer
I could just write that down and read it every day. Maybe even look to it in times of stress, anxiety or frustration. . . I think it has a lot of different purposes it could serve!
So in the spirit of ‘Being Present,’ I am giving away this
1. super comfy
2. Ganesh Inspired *Ganesh is the remover of obstacles and the lord of beginnings

Enjoying time outside with my dogs 🙂
I am going to train legs tonight and stay focused on my goals of winning a figure competition!
To be present. I went to the gym today which is first step. After being up early for my dr appt. Did some cardio for. 20 min on the matrix and followed by my all time favorite pump class at golds gym. Normally I work out longer but had a bit of a rough day. Will definitely make up for it tomorrow. Thanks. Joan.
Enjoying the weather and going for a run along the Mississippi 🙂 later I’ll find my cooking zen by attempting to make a goat cheese and asparagus pasta salad 🙂
I am working, but before work I did a quick little cardio number then while I was a work, I have been doing squats and leg lifts and chair situps. Once I am home, I will be spending time with my kiddos and making a home cooked meal like always. I may get in a short workout.
I’m taking the time to enjoy my dog show hobby this weekend in Phoenix. A girl and her Great Dane on a road trip! How cool is that? ;oD
I am “being present” by purely being thankful that I am alive and healthy, as well as starting to become comfortable in my own skin. Being cursed with an ED for the past 6 years, it is always hard for me to live in the moment and not worry about everything and to feel that I am worth something. But today, after having a great morning workout and getting some fitness pictures back, I am relaxed and enjoying the sun that I am alive and healthy to see.
I’ve been taking a different bus this week so i can get off and walk an extra 5 blocks a night (25 extra). cleaning the house this weekend. i’ll be present in getting my house in order. shirt looks very comfy:)
Today I am accepting that my house does not have to be spotless for the Easter guests we are expecting. I am taking the time for my workout and to enjoy this magical weekend with my children instead of stressing about entertaining and being the perfect hostess. I am remembering what is important about this weekend and nether my children or guests will remember that the windows needed to be washed, but the memories that we made.
I’ve always tried to be present for my children and family, but I’m learning that to do that I need to be present for myself first. So I am present for myself by getting my workout in and making healthy food choices each day.
I’m going to enjoy this moment by taking a walk around the lake with my pup. 🙂
Today I am being present by accepting the fact that I am not chained to my workout, and I need to respect my body (and it’s need for fuel). I had planned to run a few miles after my lifting session this afternoon; however I had not eaten since breakfast. I knew I was hungry, but I thought why not push it out. well two miles in I pushed stop on the treadmill before I even realized what I was doing. For the first time in as long as I can remember, I cut my workout short due to lack of fuel. In order to be present during my workouts (as in everyday life) I need to remember that my body is my means for doing so, and I need to respect and treat it properly.
Writing my paper in the natural sunlight at my kitchen table and enjoying the solitude. and I went for a blissful run this morning, no traffic, no noise, just me
Running 5km 4 times a week (sometimes outside)to take time to think, be in the moment and make positive changes to my health, physical appearance and as always Fierce Forward!!
love it Leslie!
😦 Resting my knee – it finally gave out on me on day 57 of 60 of Insanity. I WANT to be present though – I really do!!! And come Monday LOOK OUT PEOPLE because I WILL be Present again!
Sherri, it sounds like your body is telling you to slow down and recover…it’s hard when you lead an active lifestyle, but being present in recovering IS being present for your body 🙂
Enjoyed the evening with my kids. With all the chores, workouts and activites, it was wonderful to stop and just be goofy with them. We played dress up and took funny photos.
laura, sounds like fun, have a great weekend with them!
I will be present with my kids. I will listen to them, sing with them and focus on being present while spending time with them. I will try to avoid distractions. They grow up so fast, that when I am playing with them, I will be present.
I will also truly enjoy being in the moment while spinning tomorrow and running on Sunday. I
have a great time Stacy!
Today I’m being present by realizing all that I have to be thankful for. I’m trying to remember each day is a gift, and the important things in life are family, friends and health!
top 3! And yourself of course:)
Went to the farmer’s market with my 4-year-old son to have lunch, play and shop – and didn’t look at my phone once. 🙂

Had my first workout after 4 weeks off. Healing from a hysterectomy. Feeling much better!!
Thanks for posting the giveaway. I just started Zumba and yoga. I also write and meditate. it is a daily effort to “be present”

Lindsey, sounds like great BALANCE. love it! I’m with you too on the “without” phone or computer.
Enjoyed my first workout after 4 weeks off. Healing from a hysterectomy.
Heather, I’m sure that felt good. It’s so good to recover and heal the right way, and then the break was probably a really great thing for you!
I felt the sun on my face, warming my breath and quickening my pulse. Appreciate as many little moments like these as I can – now if I could only bottle this for mid-December….
right, thank goodness it’s gone;)
I’m showing up today. I’m present in my fitness goals, present in my nutrition, and present in my sleep. Let’s go!!!

I will sit quietly, look at the full Moon and be grateful that I am able to be present.

Quiet meditation first thing in the morning!
Shannon, do you do it on your own at your home? very cool!
I am taking deep breathes and enjoying every smile and giggle and hug and hand hold my sweet kids give me, cherishing every moment with my family ❤
❤ your name is beautiful.
I focused on breathing today (had an algebra exam which was extremely intimidating) and then had my music on low during my 6+ mile run so I could listen to my body’s cues, not just the changes in beats per minute. Namaste Ashley. Thank you for inspiring me daily!
Namaste Melissa. 🙂
Mel, email me at fierceforward@live.com you are the winner of this contest. The first winner did not claim her prize.
I am truly trying to live in the moment each day. Time goes by so fast and I worry about wasting this precious time we have each day. I thought today to be grateful for all I have, to not wish my life away, and to try to change my life and finally accomplish my goals.
it’s weird because it’s so, so easy to go, “I want this, I Don’t have this yet, why isn’t this like that, why can’t I be more like this, blah blah blah” it’s so negative and easy to do….but it’s a lot harder to feel grateful but really its those feelings that are the best feelings to have and feel vs. the negative…time flies so quick….love this “be present” moment by you!
I am spending time with my kids now before time slips by and they grow up 🙂
and time flies so quickly…..have a great time with them this weekend!
Today I did a 75 min power class, followed by a 60 min hot hatha class, playing with my children, decorating easter eggs, now watching cartoons, not worrying about anything…feels great to be present
lordy lordy, you go girl! Jen, I just read a lot on practicing Hot Yoga or Bikram Yoga POST weights or cardio. That, it is most beneficial after your main workouts..vs. before. So looks like you are on a good track. Yoga is my new found love. have fun this weekend…cheers to no worries!
Be, Present…
Tonight I was enjoying every second with my sweet boys. They are truly the reason I started living a healthier lifestyle. I had one in each arm, closed my eyes and relished every second of our cuddle time! ❤
Kell, sounds like such a great moment. I can’t wait to have moments like that in my life down the road! HAve a great weekend.

Thank you Ashley! You are fierce:)
Forgot to type my info last time.
🙂 Good friend
And so are you!
be present. gardening and focusing on finishing my stair master interval sets. it hurts, but it feels so good
stairmaster, my favorite!
I have been working on being present for about two years now. For me it means when I’m at work, I am AT work – concentrating on getting stuff done. When I am with my husband – he is my priority, I’m not worrying about work. When I am with my children – I concentrate on everything they say and try not to let my mind wander to other things. Today I am being present in the enjoyment of my first figure show. I’ve worked very hard to get her – now I am trying very hard to be present in the “glow” of celebrating what I have achieved.
oh my gosh Debbie, AWESOME! Have the best time and I would love for you to post a picture on ff wall so I can see how amazing you were up there. You are going to rock it! Keep being you, you’re a wonderful person.
Engage by listening with family.
love this one!
I’ll be spending time with my family…making healthy food choices and get a quick workout today!!

Be present; I am going to enjoy this beautiful day ahead…find the peace in being alone and cherish doing things outside in this beautiful weather.
sounds great Mel! Have a great time:)
I’ll “be present” with family for an outdoor, early Easter picnic at the lake and watching my daughter hunt Easter eggs for the first time. 🙂
Today I am “being present” by being thankful that I am alive and healthy. I am trying to live in the moment and not worry about everything. I am striving for balance in body, mind and soul. My dream for this year as I try 45 is to be comfortable in my own skin and to realize that the number on the scale is just that a number.
Anonymous is Cherie Bishop, a Fierce Follower – probably your biggest fan! ❤
Today I practiced being present by taking the time to enjoy the amazing spring weather, taking my puppy for a 5 mile walk, and relaxing with my family on Easter Sunday (rather than running around like a maniac like I usually do on Sundays). 😉 What a lovely day!
I “liked” be present on FB…great giveaway!
I’m focusing on what I’m putting into my body and how it is fueling my body for my strength training, runs and yoga.
love it jesse! It’s all about fueling your body for your activity…you have great balance and an awesome approach!
